• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Will the new Cruise Control work on a 2020 Ryker?

I know what the description on the BRP website says, but I'm withholding judgement until the installation instructions are published. I suspect what they probably should have said was something to the effect that it will not fit pre-'22 models without modification.

Factory cruise control on the Ryker is ECU software, a switch, and wiring from the ECU to switch via an ECU electrical port that pre-2022 models do not have. BRP would have to provide a new ECU and create versions of ECU software for those earlier models, as the 2022 ECU software is not the same. Not likely.

I'm sure people will figure out how to mod it in. Kind of annoyed if I knew it was going to be in the 2022 model I would have held off my 2021 purchase.

Well, look at it this way. The future was unknown....The Ryker may have only been made with a 2 stroke 450 cc engine in pearl white and brown seat...:dontknow:
