• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Will Saddlemen EX2200 fit the F3-S?

For long trips, which won't happen until spring, I want to get some kind of tour pack. I'm looking at the Saddlemen EX2200 mounted on the back of the backrest, not on the seat. Does anyone know if it will fit? Any other suggestions?

I have a Saddlemen BR3400 tail bag that I used on my trip to Ohio last summer. Holds a lot and sits very stable just tied down. I now have backrest and it has a wide band that will fit over the backrest for extra stability. In this picture it is empty so it looks like it is sagging but it also works well as a backrest.

Thanks - the saddlebags are actually off of the HD V-rod that I traded in for the F3. The mounting holes were just a little off from the mounting positions on the F3, but Lamont in his normal genius put together a set of mounting brackets for it when I picked it up last May. The bags are hard, locking, non-leaking saddlebags. They are discontinued as they fit the original v-rod with the narrow rear tire but you can find a set every so often on E-bay. I was very glad that Lamont could do this, he was a life-saver!

No, wish I could but I store my helmet in the frunk. They aren't the biggest but they were cheap (free) and functional!😎 They don't add much extra weight to the bike either. It is surprising how much I can stuff into them, tho

Hi,
Are these the same as your saddlebags?

BR3400

I also have the Saddleman BR 3400 for my 2015 F3. I have it tied down on the passenger seat and use it as a backrest (lumbar support).
the tail bag has double zippers and I drilled larger holes in the zipper pulls so I could pass a small cable lock through them and lock the contents. I also pass the cable lock through the grab handles to secure the bag. Marginal safety, but better than nothing.
The empty bag does hold a full face helmet and holds its shape even when I lean on it.
Highly recommend it

Yup! I was just going to post that. The holes for the mounting brackets on the inside of the bags are about an inch closer together than the holes for the grab rails on the F3. I measured the distance on an F3 at a dealership before I bought the F3. Then Lamont did the rest when I brought the v-Rod when I traded the bikes. That was just awesome the way he hooked them up! I love my Saddleman BR 3400 too!
