Will iPhone GPS instructions BlueTooth to Spyder Speakers?

i've searched here with no success.
using iphone for gps and wonder if possible, with bt, for audio directions thru spyder speaker? initial attempts default to apple music.
i don't use radio or listen to music.
i have a data blocker for the glove box usb.
i don't want the hassle of GO.

another question: will front glove box usb keep a garmin gps charged?

Lamonster sells (or did at one time) a small device that enables phone audio to play through the machine's speakers. I made use of it on my 2015 RT-S to play patriotic music through the Spyder's speakers during a 4th of July golf cart parade through our residential neighborhood several years ago. We were invited to participate with our Spyders after we assured the organizers that the Spyders would turn into golf carts when they grew up!

Regarding your second question, the USB will power the GPS but I can't say it will actually sufficiently charge it unless you ride with the GPS turned off thereby consuming no power to operate. Charging by means of a 12v source is much slower than charging via household current adapter, if my limited knowledge of "electrickery" is accurate.

Any and all sounds that the phone makes will be heard in the bike’s speakers or headset when the phone is paired to the bike. It’s the only way you’ll get music or any sound from the phone. If you have your headset paired to the phone, remove it as it causes confusion.

App data and maps require the cable.

BRP Go has simple instructions and is really not hard to figure out. Manipulating the apps and music with the joystick is so much easier than trying to touch the phone.

Why spend the $$$ on a Garmin when you have a smartphone which is GPS capable??

Will try the phone BT again.
I find the BRP GO to be too cumbersome - compared to the phone or to the Garmin - no doubt because I’m further up the learning curve!
I already have a Garmin so may try the usb for that, too.

While the phone is connected to the Spyder by Bluetooth check in the Control Center of the phone to make sure the speaker output is set for the Spyder.
