Will a ST shock work on a RS?

Curious if anyone knows if a 2013 ST rear shock will work as a replacement on a 2012 RS. Any thoughts or wisdom welcome!

Yes, it will bolt up. However, it's a downgrade for sure. Non-adjustable and softer.

So, maybe I would be better off having the guts rebuilt in mine or replacing with an aftermarket? I surely don't want to downgrade.

The shock itself isn't rebuildable. However, you can just buy the shock and move the spring/hardware over to it. Or go aftermarket. Really depends on how much money you want to put into it.

:agree: if it's price shop around you can get low mileage rear shocks online and better than oem prices at other sellers...aftermarket shocks don't come cheap..:lecturef_smilie:
