• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Wifes Valentines Present

Picked up this '08 GS for the wife on Valentines Day, got a great deal way under retail. The fenders were broken, rear fender backed into a wall and bent up, etc. Mechanically very sound. Got some parts and fixed up. Painted black plastic dash & nose with Trim paint. Painted all fenders black to make the silver pop a bit more. Found a used HMF exhaust cheap - sounds great!

Have the RS black rims coming, plasti-dipping the rims didn't work. Putting the lug nuts on ripped off chunks. Seal floorboards should be here today. This GS is WAAAYY different than my 2016 RTS! Steering is super tight, too easy to do burnouts (heh heh)!

The 08's and 09's (pre RT) were quite some machines.:bowdown: A BIG difference in riding from any RT. When I bought a 2010 RTS, I did a review comparison. Its in the archives if interested.

Zippier, more like a crotch rocket (compared to the RT--GW).

8 years after the RT came on--I am still a fan of the RT.

Seal Boards!

Seal Boards are installed! I had a lot of problems until I talked to John and we realized what had happened. The brake pedal is now a thick plate, but it very easy to get used to. Long legs like me can use heel, shorter legs can use toe. The long part in front lets you stretch out.

Rims are at a shop getting swapped over, she should be ready tomorrow to test out if rain stops.
