Wifes Spyder is here

American Marine Sports in Roseville called yesterday to say that he got 20 Spyders in. Did my wife want one early?
We drive to Roseville this Sunday to pick it up. Dealer will be installing handle bar risers and taller wind screen. We will be wanting to get the mirror extensions that others have been talking about on this forum.

I hope my wife will let me ride it part of the way home to Modesto!! :bigthumbsup:

We picked up the new Spyder today. Premier edition #1145. The wife wasn't feeling real well, so I got to drive it home from Sacramento to Modesto, plus a few little side trips around Sac. My fist impression is very favorable. I think it needs a throttle boss or something similar. It took a very firm grip on the throttle to keep at speed. Tomorrow my wife will take it out and see what she thinks.

I will also be very happy when my wife gets her SPYDER. Congrats

One of the big selling points for my wife is that she will be able to ride it as well. She has never been comfortable operating a conventional motorcycle in traffic, but she is not nearly as intimidated by the Spyder. It really is a user-friendly machine. :a18:

That's where I got mine in Feb. They had gotten more in than expected at that time too! Some of the May's were moved up. Shawn told me some of the extras were other dealers unsold allotments.

I'm sure your wife will love it, I sure feel good on mine. None of the issues I had on two wheels. I'm running with the rest of the big dogs now!
