• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Wifes' first ride

Took the wife out to Darien for lunch today; her first time on the new RT-S. She loved it and says I can keep it. That's good, since she gave it to me for my birthday and threatened to take it and leave me on the BMW.

She hasn't ridden for 25 years and we did about 180 miles. Gas mileage was up 2.4 mpg over the first few tanks.

Great ride; great fun and draws too much attention around here.

Big Win

Not the first time either. Sept 12, 2000 I got home from work and found her with bags packed. When asked where she was going she said, "We are going to spend the night at Palm Coast and go to Daytona BMW Saturday morning to pick up a new bike. Get in the truck".

Had been on the previous one since 1982; still have the 2000 but it's future in my garage is now in doubt.

Congrats...you win big!

Gave my RT-S to my wife when I bought my Victory.. she couldn't be happier with it and we still enjoy riding together...
