• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Widest rear tire

tweeder

What is the widest rear tire y'all have run. I did a comparison and found 235/50 which is 9.25" wide vs 8.85 stock. But can't seem to find that size.

You want wide, here you go...

Yeah I've seen a few of those pics before, thanks but I'm looking for the largest that can be run with the stock rim and swing arm. I see the problem is the distance between the tire and the belt, there's tons of room between the tire and swing arm. I'm looking for stock for now intill people come to there sences and get realistic with there prices on there swing arms.

I see your point but I just couldn't resist posting that photo. Now back to your question. I don't think you can fit a wider wire without going to a wider swingarm. The stock tire fills up the space pretty good. Why would you want to go to a wider tire? :dontknow:

Because it would look :doorag:er

There's a kit on ebay for like $11,000 for running the big tires.......but that's for people with more money than brains--and who don't really ride them...... IMO.

If you were able to put a larger tire on the stock rim and swingarm, you would also have to remove the rear fender for clearance.

Just removing the rear fender makes the tire look bigger and more noticeable.... and it's a free mod you can do!
