• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

why ride

My daughter and I awoke early, dressed in layers and rain gear to stop the wind..30 degrees or so. We head out at 7:30am to crispy sun trying to get a foothold on the horizon, even then we could tell it was going to be a cloudless morning. As we crossed over the bridge into Kentucky, louisville never looked so quiet. We stopped off for good warm breakfast, enjoyed a hot chocolate and suited back up. We headed north on 64 to 60 headed west towards salem enjoying the leaves falling, and even a few deer that decided not to run into the road. We got every car stare of what in the world are you riding in this freezing weather for looks, and many smiles along the way. We turned north on 135 headed to nashville to meet up with 3 more spyders, enjoying a engaging ride through the hills and valleys headed to and through brown county, my daughter was holding on tight wondering what the hurry was. No reason. I was on time..We meet up, gased up and tricky dick lead the way over to bedford and then shoals via 450 I think (note: ride that road again) we stopped for lunch and some good conversation. Loaded back up and headed our different directions. We headed east and south through French Lick, took some cool pics at a haunted mansion, and the west baden hotel (I think) . Headed south back to 64 and back east towards home, now the gloves are off, layers unzipped, now running 77 and enjoying the warm heat from the sun. Pulled into the garage, 280 smiles gone, but memories with my daughter #priceless. shut her down, de layered, hot shower, movie and ready for bed. Yes, so why ride? To enjoy- Life with loved ones:firstplace:

thanks

Thanks to retread, trickydick, and to chickenhoose and wife, for a great ride.
We all started from different locations, with different backgrounds, wth different purposes, yet we shared the "spyder trail" for a short few hours and enjoyed every hill, curve, and valley that came our way. Until we ride again..
