• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Why No Spyder Events in the Western US?

So my wife and I are registered for Spyders in the Redwoods that's coming in August....Where are all of the other Western events??? There's Spyderfest, SpyderQuest, Spyders in the Valley, etc....I don't get it!!!
Are there other Spyder events out here that I'm just not hearing about? I think we Western riders are just as enthusiastic as those in the east, but I guess the Dealers aren't, is that it???

Look at it this way; the further you have to travel to get to an event; the more stories you'll have to tell when you get there! :D

WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT

:hun:....Have they stopped doing Spyders in the Redwoods ? ? ?......Mike ....................SORRY I DIDN'T CATCH THE REDWOODS PART OF YOUR POST:opps:

SpyderQuest is not a dealer. We are just a group of friends that have a passion for the Spyder and created an event to have a great time. It's a lot of work for no pay, but it's a blast to be around our guests that trust us to put on a must attend event.

1. Go to your local dealer get them envolved to be your host dealer.
2. Recrute some Spyder friends (one person can not do it alone,,,,trust me on that).
3. Roll your sleeves up
4. Create a Western event

Good luck !!!!!

Have to agree..!!

have often wondered myself. Was at SITR last year and registered to go this year. There is talk of planning one in southern California as well but not till next year. I think the bigger consentration of spyders is east coast mid west. But then even brp doesn't come out here...:dontknow:

BRP's 2nd Owner Event was in L A.

And that was their last one on the west coast
An event in central California would draw people from the south and the north
BRP acts like California does not exist
We are different but fun:cheers::yes::cheers::joke::cheers::yes::cheers:and:cheers:

I would go to all the events if I could
Unfortunately I take care of my 88 year old stepdad and I can only get away for 2days at a time
Would not change that though because he is a great guy
But I will be there in spirit so have fun
And post pictures on SL so I can enjoy it
Thanks
Don

So if you want something done, do it yourself... I get it!!! I guess most of the events started out with just a few riders getting together and it blossoming from there....
This could be just the inspiration needed!!!
Maybe in a few months/years we'll be having the wests greatest event "Spyders in SacraTomato"... Thanks!!!

BTW- I heard a rumor that this could be last SITR due to its creators relocating out of state....Hope not!
