Many of us are trying to arrive at the facts. If, indeed 15 front is correct, then 25 front is possibly dangerous. (erratic handling, diminished traction). If, indeed, 25 is correct, then 15 is equally bad. We need answers to this very important question. 1 psi, in either direction, affects how a vehicle handles. Please explain to this forum why this thread was closed. I detected no hostility at all.
Pete,
you may have detected no hostility at all, but there were a few more people involved in that thread than just you, and the fact that
you &/or anyone else thought that it was OK to continue only goes to show how much effort the Mod Team had put in and how well they had been managing that thread! nojoke
And that's not counting all the extra crap going on caused by all those others who feel it's their right to argue every post from anyone else &/or to argue about any Mod Team decision via PM!!
That thread went because it had degenerated into a pointless bunfight going nowhere that was requiring far too much Mod Team intervention to keep on track - and it was about things that have all been covered here before anyway! :gaah:
As for any questions/concerns about Tire Pressures, factory or otherwise, there is a
VAST amount of info & discussion already on the Forum about this for any who aren't scared of doing some searching and reading; and if you bother looking at anything much of that it will quickly become obvious that one of the
MAJOR reasons that there are discrepancies in what people understand from
BRP's documentation, user manuals, website info etc. etc. is that their documentation is very poor and inconsistent, and often erroneously 'cut & paste' from year to year/model to model with no concern for making sure it is still accurate or that they are still referring to the same model Spyder! Heck, the initial info published on their website included old & superseded specification details for the RT's in their specs for the new Canyon -
details that clearly did not apply any longer, let alone to the new Canyon! Similarly, the knowledge and advice shared with owners by their dealers & techs as gospel from BRP often has little to do with reality, accuracy, &/or the effectiveness, longevity, &/or safety of the Spyders & their Ryders in the real world! :cus:
Trust BRP's documentation &/or dealer recommendations at your own risk! :lecturef_smilie:
