There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

There's gotta be a PM you've missed somewhere.... or maybe you haven't responded to a 'Send Read Receipt' request? :lecturef_smilie: (Nb - if it's a Read Receipt request on a PM from a Moderator/Admin, I'd suggest you always respond 'Yes' to those, or you might find your posting privileges stop... you just never know which of those particular PM's might be important.

Btw, IF you are actually IN the process of reading the PM you received that prompted the flashing Notification alert, it'll remain flashing until you EXIT that PM.
But AFAIK & have ever seen across a number of vBB Forums, the ONLY reason that Notification/number appears is because there actually IS something you've not yet read somewhere.... could be back a ways, but it'll be there! :thumbup:
