There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. Why is my 2 month old battery dead?

Why is my 2 month old battery dead? And it has been on a battery tender. Could I have a drain on it ?

update! Autozone replaced the battery and when they tested it,said it was just a bad battery. Might be a dumb question but will a battery tender that’s hook to a battery but not plugged in,drain the battery?

What battery do you have ????? .... what Spyder / Ryker do you have .... how old it is .... Who ever put the battery in your spyder may not have followed the Initial charging protocol ..... Mike

A broken core, bad charger, but I doubt that's the issue. Something left on by mistake? They sometimes don't give much of a warning, and they are built by humans. It maybe warrantied if you just got it. Good luck!!

Dead or drained? Agee others- if not pre charged won’t do much. Battery tender only gets surface charging not good deep charging. Please don’t just slap a trickle charger on it either. Most new battery 6month warranty, so get it tested & if good can charge accordingly. Hopefully the case.

Most likely it's one of two things - the battery was not charged properly before you got it -- or it was a bad battery. Was it from a dealer or parts house? Either way, should be within the return window.

Bamaboy, a battery tender is not the “be all and end all”. It is possible you simply have a bad battery, especially if you have one of the recent Chinese built models………and a tender can not bring the dead back to life. Take it to a battery specialist and get them to check it under load. If they say it’s good, then you possibly have some kind of drain, but that’s unlikely as the tender should be negating that. Just as an aside, I had a 4 month old Yuasa fail on my ‘16 F3-L……you just never know.

But first……as BLUEKNIGHT asks above, help us to help you……tell us your model and year, and which model battery you have

On May 8 /23 I started a Thread .... " If you think a Battery is dead, give this a try " ... sorry I can't do links, go and look at my " latest started threads " ..... it's about 20 down from the top ..... It might help .... Mike

Check the float charger. Had one on a camper go bad once. It came on and just stayed on. Boiled all the electrolyte out and killed the battery, before I found it.
