• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Why don't people remove their item after it sells?

It would make this board less cluttered and save people time by not looking at things that are no longer available.

I agree. And I did! I wonder if Lamont could put a limited lifespan on that forum most of the items seem to sell in a couple of weeks to a month?? Just wondering. :dontknow:

At the beginning of the classified postings Lamont has a post about how to delete an ad....not sure how much more we can expect him to do. :dontknow:

I never posted anything on the classified posting, but one would imagine that those that have would get tired of being contacted over something that is already sold.

one thing it does do is provide a history of what items sold for in the past if you have a similar item to sell... as long as you post SOLD on the thread then the seller should not get anymore inquiries

I like the historical data, too, but I don't think this hosting software allows editing thread titles.
