• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Why does the ACS have a valve AND a compressor?

I have a question. I have a 2015 RTS it has an ACS control on the instrument cluster it also has a Schrader valve under the seat is it necessary to adjust the Schrader valve or is the onboard compressor supposed to do the air into the suspension system or do I use both

As you state you have a RTS the ACS system is all automatic.. You adjust via the switch the ride firmness you desire. The Schrader valve is primarily used on the base model RT.

All that might be true but you can test to be sure.

I thought mine would have the automatic system but.......if you push the adjustment buttons on the dashboard, a message pops up something like "manual adjustment only". I guess I don't have the automatic option.......and putting a little air in the manual input makes the rear of the bike rise.

ACS

So I checked and there was about 30 lb in the Schrader valve I put 50 in is that going to hurt anything I haven't riden it yet?

Easy Ryder, I see you have a RTS. Either your ACS switch is bad/out of adjustment or your compressor is bad. Bruce

:agree: In fact: you can even forget that it's there: you'll never need to touch it!

You shoukd remember where it is as the compressors can and do fail.

Dave, in the Owners Manual is s chart that shows the recommended pressure for single ride, passenger with luggage, etc. Yours likely came set at the 3rd position so hit the hard or soft and give the other settings s try. You must have the Spyder running and in gear first for it to work.

Guess I'm going to have to do some further checking.
The dealer may have "forgotten" to mention that to me.......or they didn't notice it in their "thorough pre-sale inspection". :banghead:
