• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Who's planning to go to Maggie Valley Spyder Adventures 2023?

Me too, if it don't rain. Last year was great, other than my buddy's RT was acting up. Got part way home and figured out it was lack of coolant!

We plan to attend if the traveling weather is good … otherwise there is an event closer in Western KY the same time I think.

Probably not this year. I was in Maggie for a week during the recent scooter rally and my wife and I will be there on the Spyder the week of Labor Day. I have a week on the Suzuki scheduled in September in the Va./ WV mountains and my wife and daughter are taking a girls trip at the same time as the rally.

If you come across the details/dates of the KY event, pse let us know. Might be an alternative ride considering WX in Oct.

I'm going to be there on Thursday for Gary (Roadkill) Bohler Memorial ride and coming back up on Saturday. I'm 1 1/2 hours away in Spartanburg, SC.

Does anyone know which vendors will be there? I wonder if I will be able to get an alignment.
Thanks,
SP

Netzley is suppose to be there. They usually are. They can laser align, deactivate dess, instal any accessories and tires! Make sure to register to get in the major door prize handout. There’s always 3 or so FREE alignments handed out. Good luck!

This is a pretty good event, with a chance to meet many other spyder riders and ride some of the best roads in the country.
But each year it seems to be getting earlier and earlier, which makes us miss some of the peak color changes unless you ride to the highest peaks. So this year we decided to go 2 weeks after the main event, and just explore the areas and ride. We normally only spend about an hour at the actual rally anyway, so we will not be missing much. But for anyone who hasn't been, it is a great experience.
