• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I was wondering if anyone had a specific hitch in mind for their Spyder. I know there is Bushtec, and MMC.

But what else is out there?

How does the bushtec attach? MMC LLC I have heard alot about. Is there more out there?

I plan on buying one, but want the best choice....

Thanks in advance for your feedback.

+1 on Bushtec. John's stuff is always top shelf. Been pulling a B with Beemers since '94. Just happens it is silver and black. How convenient!

I also heard that Hannigan makes one.

They do but the only problem I see with thiers is they have the down brace way too far forward. I like the fact that Bushtec supports theirs as far back as they do.

AS A DEALER, I CAN GET THEM THROUGH ONE OF MY SUPPLIER FOR 175.00 PLUS SHIPPING TO YOUR LOCATION
ANYONE INTERESTED ???????????????

FLHT...as a dealer you can what from where?

I can assure you he's not getting a Bushtec hitch for the Spyder for $175.00. He's got to be talking about the swingarm mounted hitch.

You got that right Lamont. Now a question for you on the wiring. When you put magics taillight setup did that just plug into bushtecs wiring?

No Magic's light kit plugs into the stock turn signals and is completely separate from the Bushtec harness.

Where does Bushtecs wiring tie into. I'm having them run my wiring through the tubing like yours with the plug hanging out. I can't wait to get it and bolt it on and hook up my trailer. All this talk about bags and top boxes, people just don't know how cool the trailer is.

Thanks for the comparison. I think I agree.

I keep reading where everyone is talking about a Bushtec hitch and even gives a link to their site. But I've looked everywhere on it and haven't seen anything to do with a Spyder.
So how much is the hitch?
I'm begining to wonder if it isn't easier to just make one.

"Hitch is $479 for 1 7/8 ball and $579 for Bushtec Heim Joint and Pin Application"

Just sayin....
