• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

who remembers these two

Classic. There's a road here in San Antonio off of Hwy 90 called "Acme Rd". Every time I see the exit sign to the off ramp I think of Willey Coyote and his famed Acme gadgets.

amazing that how old we get, there are still things we enjoyed as kids, and still like them

It's amazing that we've been able to get this old!

Cars with no seat belts.
Cars with no child seats.
Skateboards and bicycles with no helmet, elbow pads, knee pads, gloves (or even shoes sometimes!)
Riding in the back window or floor of a car.
Riding in an open bed of a pick-up truck.
Playing far from home without adult supervision.
Walking to school.
AND BB GUNS! :yikes:

It reminds me of the time when I was young and my friend, Spike, came flying down the road, planning to stop inside his garage. However, it was getting dark and his dad had just closed the garage door. Spike went SPLAT against the door, looking just like the coyote. I still laugh about that.

IMO, those were some of the best cartoons ever. Poor Wylie, so smart, but soooooooooooooooo unlucky. Thanks for sharing.:bowdown:

And thanks Baja for giving us some more fond remembrances. :firstplace:
