• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Who noticed???

F4-Customs last picture shows a white F3-SM with RS/ST cases on it. I would be very interested in knowing
how that was achieved.

We met up with a BRP rep in Quebec City for Spyder Odyssey, and she had some Givi bags on as well. She told us that she had brackets custom welded for her F3. She took the brackets from an ST and had them modified for her F3. They did a pretty good job, and she said that she was trying to get BRP to offer them for the F3 instead of the dorky ones they have now. I am not sure if this is her bike or not. I forget what colour her bike was. I was going to do the same thing for my wife's F3, but the cost of the bags and brackets were too much. I put on a set of Kappa 40L bags, and universal Givi brackets for a lot less, and with less work.

Spoke with the owner at Spyder Quest, he is out of New York and fabracted the brackets himself but did use some of the parts from the BRP bags. Quick easy on/off with no major signs of the brackets on the bike when bags are removed.

Nicely done..!!

where theres a will theres a way. I have seen several setups running around. There are so many folks out there that are not on here doing amazing things but keep to themselves. Some are quite nice some are scary...:yikes: but mounting hardwear is fairly easy to make or modify for the bags you have or can get hold of. The prices do incentivate the diy'ers out there to come up with afordable solutions...

Bummer, I just purchased the OEM side cases for my wife's' F3-s and the quality and capacity is not what I expected ( ordered at the time of purchase).
After riding her bike with modifications with shocks, links, MRA xcreen, and sway bar, I am seriously considering selling my Kawasaki C-14 and purchasing 2016 F3s. I am getting older and with several surgeries on my knees and hips, the spyder makes more sense. I was very comfortable on her bike with the exception of the windshield (since modified).
And so long story short, I was looking at the 34 liter givi bags with the universal mount. Can you tell me which universal mount and type of givi/kappa bag that you mounted. I read on their web site that the larger bags will accommodate two full face helmets, true?
Any help is greatly appreciated. Do you have any pics of your mounted bags. Thanks

GIVI

Hopefully I will be installing my Givi E41 side cases this weekend. 41 liters per bag. I wanted to know what that was. I wear a XXL helmet. I can fit my full face and a German helmet in the bag. And there is room for more. Will post pics if and when I install.

Unfortunately, a full faced helmet is too large to fit in the Kappa K41 or the Givi E40 bags.

Here is the universal side mounts we got.

The 33L Givi nor the 34L Kappa will fit. They use a completely different mounting system.
