Sue Hopper .... the lady with the magic brushes ... was here in Bowie, TX yesterday to paint three motorcycles (my Spyder, husband's Harley, and Bill's Victory). While on break for lunch, Sue mentioned that a couple at Spyderfest had wanted to come to Bowie for painting but were not available that day (5/11). She also indicated that they know us and where we live .... Larry and Ann Smith -- maybe that they are even FROM Bowie, TX. For the life of me, can't think who this might be ...... soooo ....

Please step up, raise your hand, identify yourselves! If you are really that close .... maybe we can go for a ride.

Great job. Also like the 'Legion Riders'.

With the Spyder windshield being as it is and air constantly flowing up from below, my Legion Riders banner kept coming loose. If it weren't for a couple of O-rings tucked in the corners, I would have lost it completely (twice, now). So, Sue used it as a template and etched the lettering directly into my windshield -- was even able to hide a scratch by doing so. Looks pretty darn good too!



Still wondering who knows us ... maybe I'll post in Girls on Spyders as well. Best Regards .... Ann
