I have no interest in pins, patches, or plaques, but I do like cash prizes. If the Huligan Master would offer a sizable cash prize for a last place finish, I might be persuaded to become a "Huligan". Hopefully, the prize would be large enough to cover the cost of a turbocharger. I would probably need one just to avoid total disgrace.

I am sure the other Huligans would want to do performance testing opposite me early in the day. They would view this as an easy win (make that -"good performance test"), which is a good way to start the day. If the other Huligans were agreeable to supplementing the cash prize, a good performance test could be virtually guaranteed.

So, that's an interesting point of view. The strongest competitor gets to be Master. Looks like a meritocracy to me. Isn't this a good argument for you to get that turbocharger you have always wanted in your deepest heart? Never mind the cost. It is an investment in the quality of life.

I would like to have a turbocharger just to play with. Never mind the performance testing. It could be fun just to fool around with it. But in this context cost becomes an obstacle. I have wasted too much money already on toys that have little or no practical value for me. If I knew when the end was approaching, I could get the turbocharger late in the game. Then there would be no time for feelings of guilt.

Why not Spyders? Off the records, BRP response was "we have no competition, there are no other roadster manufacturers"...Yes, true, but we can compete against the clock or one against other!
The term Huligan was introduced first time in Cuba, MO 2010. It is spelled with "U" instead of "OO" in order to not be confused with some England soccer team supporters. The title is rank-less, just a proof that you and your Spyder participate in an organized "performance testing" competition: 1/8, 1/4 mile or track. A (free) T-shirt should be supplied by the organizing entity.
