• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Alright who invented these wonderful products? Some Seafoam in the tank, Lithium grease on the clutch lever, brake pedal assembly/linkage, and ohhh myyy the gift shift lever. Wow. This 08 feels like a 12! A must do!

I use Sea Foam occasionally and use Star Tron the rest of the time...it's cheaper. Both are great products.

What is Seafoam, what does it do and where do I get it?

Seafoam is a gas treatment that had been used in boats, cars, and trucks since before WWII.

It stabilizes fuel, cleans injectors, etc. I use it in all my vehicles every 10k. Two cans plenty for 2 cars and the Spyder. Cleans egr, PVC, vacuum lines beautifully.
Good product.
I don't add to crankcase though.. Don't want to mix with Amsoil. It goes in the tank :)

Thanks. I'll check it out.

Lithium grease is fine. I only use seafoam or stabil for stabilizing fuel. Never for cleaning injectors. There is no way to tell what it does or is doing other than SOTP feeling or "I experienced no problems". For injector work, I take them out in the winter and send them off for testing. For $15 per injector, I get to see what the fuel has been like around here to the injectors, verify that they are working right and know the spray pattern and volume are what they should be. I do this ever few years with all my powersports stuff.

On my Vette, I had 8 injectors that were not doing the same thing. Car felt right to anyone including myself. Sent them out and one of them had a big drop in fuel volume because of a collapsed basket filter and the rest were somewhat closer. After the treatment, all were flowing at the right rate within 2 tenths of each other. There is KNOWING and there is GUESSING.
