• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Who has the best seat in the House?

Who manufactures the most comfortable Spyder seat? :dontknow:

Well, at least Putt-Putt gave you a straight answer. I ordered and recieved a BRP Comfort Seat and it was damaged so I sent it back for a refund. It looked like it could have been comfortable. I decided to spend a little more and get the Corbin seat. I like the way they have redesigned it into two distinct seats and the seating areas are leather which I prefer. Yes, they take some breaking in. I researched this subject a lot and Corbin worked best for me. It should be delivered in about 10 days. Another thing is that they make there own seat pan so you don't have to send them anything...just $$. good luck.

Thank you all for your help, I hope that I get a chance to sit on some of these seats that some of you already have. However I don't see many Spyders in my area...I'm a Lone Spyder... I do own the new comfort seat but I'm not really happy with the quality. (2 holes in the front)

That is the best way to find what suits you, although someone elses Russell may not fit you quite right, since they are custom fit to the rider. Hope you find the right combination for your anatomy and riding habits.

The Corbin really does take some time to break in... I have about 30k+ on mine and seriously felt like a mistake for the first 10 - 15.
That was also during mid winter, so its very possible that it breaks in better in the warm months. Now its like a nice beat up leather jacket, it just feels nice all over. At first sliding in to the rear seat felt very similar. Now I can feel a huge difference from the front to back.
