Who actually makes the half cover for the Spyder RT-S???

I like the way it's made and would like to contact the actual manufacturer abotu something.

Anyone know who it is???

Thanks I know they do as I have one....I am trying to figure out who makes the Half cove rfor the Can Am Spyder as I really like the features, qualtiy and over all functionality of it!

Apparently this is a Top Secret item by BRP....Oh well, hopefully with things changing in China these too will be made in the USA sooner rather than later...

Is anyone sure what the cost is? 1 service department told me that I need to have my valves checked during this aservice and the other one said that I don't have to have that done until I reach 12k. does anyone know or have had the service done? i have a 2011 RSS SE5.

Every dealer will have a different price. They should go by the manual for scheduled maintenance,but some will add or subtract items depending on the climate or conditions in their area..Also labor rates are all over the spectrum..Call Cowtown and they will give you the best advice anyone can give you...They saved me hundreds of dollars on my 12k service.They were less expensive than what they quoted me because I didn't need it all..:clap:.I drove 100 miles and passed up two dealers to have them work on mine,,.I know they are far away from you,but they will tell you what you really need to have done,and what you don't..Then,basically you just have to have trust in the dealer you are taking it to...Everyone should be as honest as Cowtown!!

Very few manufacturers are willing to reveal the identity of their parts and accessories suppliers. BRP is no exception.

Service at 6000 miles. Talked to Yovonne at SF and she took her Spyder to the Cartersville store for service. She lives in Alabami. She was quoted about $200 for the service. All the other dealers wanted to do the valve adjustment and wanted $800.

Yeah me too...I was wanting to know about the Can Am Spyder half cover.....There are 1000's of posts about service....but someone felt the need to hi jack this thread instead of searching!!!:lecturef_smilie:

While we know BRP doesnt make it, if you dont know, just call BRP, see where that leads. Whats the worst case, they say they wont tell you and hang up screaming?

I called and they stated it was proprietary information and would not allow who made the covers. It is definitely NOT BRP, but their not telling either!!!

Next idea???
