• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Whistling

:D I called them "Limited Access" roads, because I wasn't sure how they are referred to in Europe...
"Interstates" works nicely; only they travel between Countries on them. :D
"Four-lane"? How many lanes DO they actually have?
"Freeways"? Does this disqualify a Toll-Road? :dontknow:

Just trying to play to the largest audience!

A couple years ago, I was discussing a vibration I got at a certain speed with Harvey Clark - his response? Don't drive that speed! It seems to be pertinent advice, here, too! :roflblack:

I have a strange whistling noise driving between 44 and 46 mph. Does not matter which gear, it's the speed.

I have asked my dealer and they claim, all F3 have this problem.
Simple solution is nbot to drivce with that speed but that is not helping, it is annoying.

Anyone a clue what this is about?

I also think mine is smooth SPYDER belt tensioner I like it, sounds like turbo.

Our motorways are 3 or 4 lanes and a bit like interstates but with a lot Jess junctions (exits). Closet I've come across in the states is the Florida turnpike or some of the toll roads.

And we only have one toll road in the whole UK barring a few bridges and tunnels. Our vehicle tax covers road costs. The toll was a one off experiment and hasn't been considered successful. Not enough people using it to meet the intent of taking traffic off other surrounding routes. It is quite expensive.

ahhhhhhh.......gotcha.....in Oz, it's Motorways if there is a toll and Freeways if there is not.....but there ARE exceptions, just to confuse any visiting Americans. :2thumbs: .....and we have a significant number of toll roads in the major cities to help reduce road congestion.......DOESN'T BLOODY WORK THOUGH ! :banghead:
