• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Hi everyone. Hope all were out ridin today. It was beautiful here.

Recently I put a short antenna on my RT LTD and I get a hi pitched whine on 67 am (the Cubs station). I do not get it on FM or any other stations. No Cub jokes please. It is only there when the engine is running. It sounds like when you needed resister plugs in you car to get rid of the engine noise. Any ideas what it might be. Thanks, Mike

you can get rid of that

You can get rid of it by going back to the standard antenna or
installing a 1000 µF electrolytic capacitor in hot lead to the radio.
or you can switch over and listen to the giants hahaha.
sorry to say but that's a pretty common problem when switching the antenna

Is that anything like a flux capacitor? Seriously, what is that? To me it sounds like when you had a car a while back and the engine noise was reduced with resistor plugs. Thanks, Mike

is this what you are talking about
