• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I have another question for everyone. Which helmet type do you prefer for cruising and why? Full, 3/4, 1/2, Modular, Hybrid? I am just curious.
I was originally a full helmet guy back in the day and never tried anything else but now that I am looking at communication options, audio, etc I wonder which you prefer for "cruising".

Full face , I ride using the flip down eye glasses( goggles) , and the chin bar up. The name of my helmet is Zox. Deanna777

Depends on the weather down here. If too warm, 90+ and 100% humidity i wear a 3/4 Fulmer. However if not so harsh, or a trip on the interstate may be on the books, a Fulmer M2B or HJC BT

I have two different helmets that I like. A Nolan N103. Full face, but it opens in the front for easy access. Also use a Nolan N44 without the chin bar. Not as good as a full face, but I like it anyway.

I wear several types, in winter my Scorpion full face modular with convertible Jaw that can be removed to create a 3/4 open. When the temps get up to 60 and above I use my 1/2 helmets for more comfort. I would never presume to tell a person what they should where other than be sure it is DOT approved.

Shoei full face RF1200 on the street. Just got a new full face enduro helmet and the brand name escapes me but it's a nice light carbon fiber thing, retired the last enduro helmet after it bounced off a tree. Luckily my head was in it.

learning to love Bell Pitboss half helmet. love the adjustable strap inside the helmet for a great fit.

modular shoei neotech for the long road trips and cold weather.

Full Face. Been to too many MC Accidents to wear anything else.

I don't like the extra weight of the modulars.

I've worn full face helmets exclusively since 1978. I currently have a Shoei RF-1100 for virtually all riding, though I will wear a Scorpion half helmet in parades.
