• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

which saddel bags

Nice looking bags. How are they mounted to Spydie?

Each of the Nelson-Rigg bags has large Velcro straps (1 hook, 1 loop strap) which attaches to its mate on the other bag. There are also extender straps for under-the-seat mounting. A few other tie down straps are there as well.

Has anyone ordered the Corbin Trunk Box? We ordered ours the day we bought our Spyder - February 24. We still haven't received it. My husband has called the Hollister store and actually talked with Jessica ext. 230 and it seems as if we get conflicting stories each week. For example, 2 weeks ago, we were told that it didn't ship because they had busted the top or the mold had a defect and they had to start over. Last week, the trunk box was in for it's final coat of paint on May 16, which was a Saturday and would be shipped on Monday. Today, is Monday and they don't know what happened to the box they were painting on Saturday, so now they are painting another case and will ship next week. We asked the young lady if she actually thought we would have it by July. She said she hoped so. :gaah:

OK, I'll address the soft saddlebags:

Nelson-Rigg makes a few styles of generic bags that fit the Spyder.

(In the interest of full disclosure, I did sel these after our first big trip.) Nice workmanship, company has excellent customer service, price is on the order of instead of . They have rain covers, and are quite durable.

I still have an N-R tank bag, roll bag and was considering a passenger seat bag.

Good luck in your decision making!

I just got these in the mail today, for our trip for the weekend and just put strapped them on really quick to see how they fit. They look like they may get in the way of the turn signals, what did you do?

FYI- SHAD company makes some nice hard bags. They are completing production on the bracket for the Spyder. I plan on putting a pair on my Spyder . They are about 1/2 the price of the GIVI bags.

Sorry, Donk, I just saw your question.

They did touch the signals (I had the straps cinched tight and under the seat 'cause of having a passenger) but then I flipped them the "wrong" way and let them down a bit.
