• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Which NGK Plugs and what is the gap setting

Look on the home page. BajaRon sells Iridium NGK plugs. The plugs are pre gapped but it's good to check them anyway. The gap for the is .031 to .035. Do you have an RT or RS?

If you are getting the NGK Iridium IX (which I highly recommend) you'll need the following.

2008-2012 RS/GS/RSS - DCPR9EIX

All others (except for the 2014 RT 1330 ACE motor) - DCPR8EIX

Remember that you'll also need Thermal Paste for the spark plug threads (Not Anti-Seize).

These IX plugs have a much wider gap than what BRP calls for. If you get good, low resistance wires the added spark will easily jump this gap giving you better flame propogation, more efficient burn and better performance.

I do not recommend re-gaping the Iridium IX plugs. The center electrode is extremely hard and very brittle. If you put much pressure on it you'll shatter it. If you do change the gap be sure to use a tool that does not touch the center electrode.
