• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

That's what everyone wants in a windshield. It's impossible to provide you much advice without knowing more about you and your bike.

I purchased the tallest windshield from F4 Customs and am very happy with my choice. In fact, I later purchased their adjustable side wings to allow more air to flow on my body in the warmer weather. I sometimes wonder if I should have purchased the vent they offer as an option, however I have no experience with windshield vents.

I was concerned about their claim that you could clean their windshield with a paper towel and Windex, but I do, and so far everything is ok. I must say that I still baby the windshield when cleaning and often use a soft cloth and water to soak the bugs before going with the paper towel and windex.

I too was worried about paper towels, they can be pretty rough and harsh depending on the brand. I’ve also heard so many negatives on Windex with ammonia, that I was just afraid to even use it on the F4.

Over the years, I heard great things about these expensive cleaning cloths called Norwex. You wet the Norwex cloth with water and clean the windows and it leaves no residue or hazing. I’m cheap, so I ordered the “knock off” version and I am impressed! My windshield has never been cleaner and it is as clear as new. Now granted, this is in direct contrast to the F4 instructions, but it is working too good to ever go back to paper towels and spray cleaner.
