Checked mine and it's hooked up "tight and right"... so there's something ugly going on in there...:shocked: :gaah:

There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Dealer figured it out!
I had no problems with my 5th gen Ipod nano and then I did. They got me a new cable and it work well for a little while (not long) and then it did the same thing. They thought it was all a software issue so I purchased a brand new 6th gen ipod nano and still nothing.
They got a new cable off the RT on the show room floor...much shorter than the first one they just installed a few months previous. And that fixed the problem.
Apparently there are several different cables that go with different voltage requirements and such. It now works fine, can view playlists and click thru songs...and it charges it too! The cable that worked is like 6 inches long and takes up less space which I like!
Good luck with getting yours to work. I can get a photo of the cable if that will help you. I also asked the dealer if there was a special part number for that cable...he didn't think so...

i use a ipod nano (which came with the bike) and a ipod touch .. they both work great on our rts ..they both charge while plugged in through the pig tail.. i have full control through the controls on the bike...the shuffle requires a special cable..
