• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Which Fuse to Change?

Hello all, I'd like to get the rear power out let to be on at all times instead of switched to the ignition. The owner's manual says:
"When fuse 6 is installed in the RH fuse box, 12 V power outlet is only operational when ignition switch is at ON position. When fuse 7 is installed, 12 V power outlet is always operational." I looked at the RH fuses, but I'm not sure the manual's correct. Please advise, I'd like to use a Battery Tender adapter in the power outlet. Thanks!!

Works great

Pull F6 fuse out and put it in F7 spot Power to trunk 12 volt will now be all the time

I've been using the battery tender on my 2012 and now on the 2014 RT after I did this fuse change from F6 to F7. Works great! Easy.

Good luck!

There you go...!!

That was a breeze..now test us on someting more difficult...like where do I bolt on a center stand..?? :roflblack::roflblack:

Right Side

I know this may be known but it doesn't hurt to make sure.

When they say right side thats as sitting on the bike. So when looking at fuse box in frunk it the one on the left when looking towards the back of the bike.

Thanks everyone! I was looking at the numbers above the fuse sockets, which does not correlate with the actual fuse socket number for some reason. I have it switched from 6 to 7 now, and am set up for the Battery Tender adapter to be used in the rear power outlet. I'm sure I'll have more difficult questions to post to the forum, such as how difficult is it to replace the vacuum lines on the throttle body-I read quite a bit about this being an issue. Thanks again!
