• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. I will be taking a ride this weekend to Hotdog Johnny's in Buttzville, NJ on Saturday, and on Sunday to the Hawks nest on Rt. 97 just outside Port Jervis NJ. and head up 97 along the Delaware river. If you ever get to or live in North east PA or near PA. THE HAWKS NEST IS A MUST RIDE when the leaves are changing.:thumbup:

We're heading up through Connecticut and Massachusetts, for a nice 250 mile or so ride...

:agree: Going up through the Hawk's Nest at this time of year is a GREAT ride!
Stop in Barryville at the ice cream stand!
(Corner of 97, & 55)

Up here this Sunday is our annual Santa's Anonymous Toy Run.
A bunch of us from the club will be joining in with bikers from all walks of life....

Please have an extra hot dog for me!

We are also up for more mountain driving and pretty much final color show this weekend. We are having one of those "indian summer" type weeks--very rare for us. Sunshine and blue skies, crisp, fall air, and no rain. Lower 50's--but that is good for us this time of year.

8 or 10 of us from ny, nj and pa are heading to amish country down around Lancaster, pa. (Lititz) you pronounce it and see how it comes out!:roflblack::roflblack::roflblack: riding and partaaaaaaying after the rides. kind of a little wind down after putting on spyderquest!!! gelling some thoughts about next year's event over a couple of bottles of wine and a few micro brews!! cheers to all!!

Kevin,
It should be a lovely, if only chilly, morning.
I don't mind the cool breeze, because the kids all deserve this ryde.

My ride will be short compared to the rest of you. I will be heading from just outside of Harrisburg to Hanover PA. I just had the Tri Axis handlebars installed and want to start with shorter trips. The weather is supposed to be perfect for riding.

I will put that on my list. Looks interesting, maybe I can make time on 10/5/14.

This week it looks like Sunday we may ride down to Port Deposit Maryland for lunch at the Union Hotel & Tavern.

I'm going to Leisure Powersports Bike night in Pottstown Saturday night.
He's a Can Am dealer.
Details are from 5-10pm.
They are advertising vendors, music, food, etc.

I have a very short ride planned for Saturday.
I will be riding 28 miles from Danbury down to Norwalk, and then go sailing for the bulk of the afternoon, and then riding home again.

Dinner at the Sunset Grill. Apologies to Don Henley

Fall Colors

Anyone been to this area this Fall? I plan on riding up to the "Hawks Nest" on 10/3/15. Just wondering if the fall colors are in or near there prime?

I'm thinking of Cassoday the first Sunday in October. I just hope it won't be hot or wet.
Really good ride from Council Grove to Cassaday through Cottonwood Falls. Is October the last scheduled event till Spring? I have made it several times, just not the first Sunday of the month.

The hills...

will do a couple hundred miles of mountain roads with a coastal return and never be more than twenty miles from home...the way a crow flys...:roflblack::roflblack:
