There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. Where to go in Wisconsin?

This summer a friend and I are thinking about a long weekend (4 day) trip around Wisconsin. We planned to start in south east WI near the IL boarder. Then head west to towards the Mississippi and then north towards the UP. Heading back on along Lake Michigan. I was wondering if anyone has any stops that would be interesting? Any roads that are worth going out of the way to ride on? Restaurants that we should stop at or avoid?

I've usually been in a car when traveling around the state so I have no idea the best roads for a nice ride. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the help

Definitely include Door County. The peninsula has many places of interest. Restaurants, museums, plenty of back roads for exploring. While passing through Green Bay, take in the stadium tour at Lambeau Field. Lots to see and do in Northeastern Wisconsin.

The NORTH part is the best. I lived in Ashland for a few years. Lake Superior, Apostle Islands, quaint (but expensive) lodgings, Food and scenery to die for. A venture over to Duluth MN and Lake Superiors North shore drive (HWY 61 as far as Grand Marais) are worth the extra trip.

There are a lot of great roads to ride in Western Wisconsin, depending on how far south in Wisconsin you are going to start.
If you are over in the River Bluff country, from Dubuque IA area North, the river bluffs have some awesome roads.
If you find yourself in Potosi WI, stop in at the old brewery and have lunch, check out the beer.
Over at Cassville WI, you can catch a ferry across the Mississippi to IA and ride up. There are lots of great roads between Cassville and Prairie du Chien.
If you spend time in Prairie du Chien, go to the old downtown area and check out Pete's Burgers, a quaint little burger stand.
There are plenty of good roads to ride in the area, or along the river to La Crosse. If you follow Hwy 35 North of I-90
there's plenty more river Bluff riding. From Fountain City to the top of the bluffs heading to Arcadia there are some fun roads.
In Alma WI, ride up to the overlook and take in the view. In Redwing MN, you can get up on top of the Bluff for another good view.
That is some of my favorite riding. Of course, getting into Northern WI you will find some nice roads; in Delta WI, you will find an old New Jersey Diner out in the middle of the woods. Riding US 2 along Lake Superior will give you some great views.

When are you going and would you like a third?

We have had someone else mention the diner in the UP so we might have to plan a stop there. I should have thought about Potosi as I went there as a kid (scout) and lots of fun.
Thanks for the ideas.

We are going sometime in the end of June or early July. It will depend on his ability to get vacation days. Sorry, but I'll have to pass on the third. This has been kind of a tradition for the guys involved.
