• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

For those in Riverside/ San Bernardino counties. I used Malcome Smith in Riverside for service on my 2014 spyder. But Henry has moved on to another dealership ( non can am). So the question is...where are you all going to take the spyder to have work done on it now. Any places I should stay away from???

thanks all

Depends..!

the best would be Pirate Motorsports but not a dealer. Talk to Lou. We have many riders from here in San Diego who go to him. But there are other dealers in your area. Bert's Mega Mall comes to mind. You can get a list from spyderlovers or brp...

While I do most of my own service Bert's Mega Mall is great! They are a dealer and can do warranty work. I had my 600 mile service done by them and they did a great job and did all service updates and bulletins. I checked the work when I got home and it was SPOT on so I trust them! They also offer discounts to Spyder Lovers and to SRA-LA club members.

I have also heard from a friend that goes to Mission Motor Sports and he likes them.

Malcom Smith's get's great reviews but if thier Mech left.... That might be an issue but I hear the service manager there knows his stuff.

Can Pirate do warranty work, or do you have to go to a dealer? Bert's is close to me, but will not go back.

No Pirate can't do warranty work. I would be curious to hear your story about Bert's?
No one I know has had an issue with them so far.

thanks all for your input BUT I looked up Pirate powersports online. made a name/password. But there is no phone number listed nor a email address. I responded to the email that was sent to me ofr my log on info but that comes back no good. anyone have the phone for this place.
