• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

as the spyder is not " laying" in the curves - it looks not so spectacular than on a bike - you also don`t feel how fast she is .. (yes she is!!)
has anyone an idea where would be the best palce to fix the camera - for more action ...
here is a test -using my standard panasonic lumix - fixed on the rear handlebar - you can see how good the rear shock is working - only few vibrations on this point

That is a cool view from there. Maybe a filter in front to block some wind noise, or dubbing music in the background. I knew it wouldnt be long till you passed the first car..LOL.
Nice roads too.
I have a Go-pro on the front trunk, one on the rear trunk and a contour HD on my helmet. A real cool view is to get a motorcycle to follow you or lead and video you both together. That way you see the leaning the bike is doing to keep up.

Dave, I would very much like to see your videos. Perhaps even a still shot of how you mounted your cameras. I hope one day to try v-imaging some of my adventures. The cameras aren't very expensive at all.

I'm beginning to see how the purchase of the :spyder2: is the down payment on the mods and accessories.

I still think (IMO) the best place is the helmet. If placed any other place, it's just a static postion; on your helmet there is movement.

I've tried saddlebag, helmet and trailer and I like the trailer the best.

All great mounting spots!! For our summer ryding we took off the little wind-wings for more air to my legs. Well this allowed for another great mounting location. This location looks amazing in the videos we have (Sorry all to large right now to show as they are each at least 4 hours long).

If you could clamp it to the A-arm area that might be a cool perspective. Mount it to the body so it can watch the suspension work and have a good view of the road.

I thought about that; but, too much dirt, dust, water and other road debris that would get on the casing and screw up the view b/c the lens would end up covered or partially covered.

I was wondering about that the other day. Our HD PRO does not sound anything like that. We hear the wind of course, and all the shifting and such. Even some of our conversations as we pull over and folks ask us questions....

We use the waterproof case. Are you as well?

Yep, I have the closed door. I think it could be wind noise and trailer noise. It's still a lot better than the other one I was using.

think lamont`s idea is the best (like always..) - think there is no other trailer-dryver here in europe - any ideas how i can tell my wife i need a trailer to make better video-clips ...

Chris - tell her the tailer is to make it easier for her to travel with you. You know to carry all her essential needs. The camera mount is for security. :D
