• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Can anyone tell me where to find the paint number on a 2014 RTL? I'm getting ready to paint my trailer to match the bike but I'm having issues with the paint #.:banghead::banghead::banghead: My Spyder is Pearl White, I think. I've looked up paint numbers and found listing for a Vegas White so I need to confirm the paint number. Any help appreciated. Read several post pointing to U S Paints but their website only shows up to a 2013 model.

Not OEM but I haven't found anyone who could tell the difference ....... and this was done on my Pearl White 2014 RT ..... After removing the stock antennae I had to patch the hole .... I did it with a base coat and a top coat .... from Toyota .... If you are painting a trailer it's going to use a lot of paint ..... the Toyt paint can be purchased in pints ,quarts, & gallons ... also in 14oz. spray cans ............ You can see some of my work on Deanna777 posting pages ......... Mike

Please let me make a correction first, I did this so long ago my memory failed me :banghead: ... Both colors were from Dupli-Color ( a well known brand of after market paint ) the base coat was actually a FORD tinted paint termed Pure White ( which it wasn't to my eyes at least compared to the Toyt. paint ) the # is BFM0384 ........ The Toyt is White Pearl # BTY1626 , this paint is trans-lucent so the Ford color must be used as the Base color .....through trial and error I found that the Ford color was Key to a match ....... I see you listed the White Pearl ( Tricoat ) .... I couldn't find the word Tricoat on my can ( and I checked for it ) ...... I know people want stuff to match, but consider this ....#1. If the colors aren't actually touching or over-lapping ( like spot painting ) a very, very close match won't be noticed by anyone ....... and my Paint job was of the over-lap variety .......#2. the BRP paint is UBER expensive for a small amount ...enough to paint a trailer might break the bank :gaah:...... Good Luck .... Mike

Thanks Mike and Highwayman! I'm wanting to paint my 2013 Heat reduction scoops

and since they are right on the body panels really do want as close a match as possible. Optionally, if I can't make a good match, then I'd wrap them in CF or something.
