• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Where is the ENGINE VIN located on the Engine Block?

I have a 2020 RT Limited-and I live in MN with the same requirement of providing an engine ID#. Is it the same in terms of panel removal (left side) and such for the 2020?
If you look down below all the posts in any thread, there's a section labelled 'Similar threads' that often has info about threads that might be helpful to check out. In this instance, if you haven't got enough info to find the necessary from THIS thread already, the very first thread in the 'Similar threads' list displayed below (for me, anyway) was started by a member from MN, like you, who owns a 2014 RT with the 1330 motor, the same engine that is in your 2020 RT (which should have its number in the same place), who was told he needed the FRAME number as well as the VIN number, and that thread might help. Just in case your 'Similar threads' display is different to mine (it shouldn't be, but just for Justin's sake ;)), here is a link to that thread:

Good Luck ;)

I try that first generally-the thing is I know where the ID# is located, but the plastics come off differently on a 2020 I think. I was asking the wrong question. Also-I really don't want to really spend hours doing that right now. Today a guy in MN gave me a place that can pull the engine ID# with something called a BUDS system. It looks like there are 2 places fairly close to me that pull the info. electronically-$75. That's well worth it to me!
