• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I would like Good ole Al Gore to step right up and tell us again
all about global warming....
I think he may want to check out the weather in the south part of the U.S.A.
it's more like global freezing..... One of my buddies in Crossville Tenn has been
with out power for 4 days, his heat is from the fire place.
Global warming ????? :dontknow::dontknow::dontknow::dontknow::dontknow:

Bill Nye the Science Guy says we can't say 'Global Warming' anymore. We have to say 'Climate Change'. That way, no matter what weather you're complaining about, they can blame it on you! :yikes:

He's hiding.

I passed through the Crossville TN area on Sunday and it looked like a hurricane had passed through. There were electric poles snapped off about mid way up. There were trees down all the way to traffic lanes on I40. There were men braving the bitter cold installing new power poles. I had stopped for gas and everybody there had several red gas jugs in the back of their vehicle. I knew that I was in the middle of a natural disaster. Talked with a TN State Trooper there to see if I could continue west on I40 and he didn't know of any traffic problems on I40. As I continued West, there was one 18 wheeler on it's side in the median and several 4 wheelers wrecked and abandoned. I was extremely thankful that my original plans to travel to Nashville on Saturday didn't work out. Thank God.

As for Al Gore, I hope he's somewhere in Nashville digging out.

What..!!

Climate change..!! climate change..!! Isn't that what the climate does and has since the begining of time..?? We needed gov't to tell us the climate changes :banghead:
I do feel for all you guys and gals in the frozen tundra (american style)...

AlGore

Not a typo, no space intended. Isn't he living in CA now. He has never lived in TN. He just needed a home state to go to the senate. Had he carried his "home state" in 2000, he would have been president. And haven't you seen the explanation of how Global Warming is causing our cold, snowy, icy weather. And they did shift to Climate Change a couple of years ago when they realized the average temp had fallen a couple of years in a row. Aren't politicians wonderful!

even though he really never "lived here" ... I would like to formally apologize to everyone from the state of TN for Albert.

OH NO. I HOPE HE STAYS OUTTA CALIFORNIA

Where ever the lard butt is you can bet he isn't cold, hot or hungry or living in the streets. The liar made multi-millions of dollars from his mafia like organization of climate change salesmen. And people still believe him...that's why we have his kind misleading this country.

Whatever it Is!!!

It sucks in the winter time, big time!!! Thankfully it isn't an Ice Age....., yet. I've only lived on the world almost 62 years and as far back as I can remember there are no two years in a row that are the same when it comes to weather. When I see on the news weather reports what the high & low record temperatures were on any given day, guess what?? We've usually had this same weather sometime in the past. In the extremes it has been much hotter back in the dinosaur era and much colder in the Ice Age era. This all makes me a believer in weather cycles which repeat themselves over long periods of time.

How Cold Was It?
At 60 degrees: Californians reach for their sweaters.
At 50 degrees: Floridians pull out another blanket.
At 40 degrees: British Cars refuse to start.
At 30 degrees: Alaskans go swimming.
At 20 degrees: Folks in South Carolina start crying.
At 10 degrees: Real Estate values in Arizona start looking
reasonable.
At 0 degrees: Canadians go swimming.
At-10 degrees: Residents of Michigan go to Football games.
At-20 degrees: Canadians will put on a Tee-Shirt.
At-30 degrees: Alskans will close the Bathroom Window.
At-40 degrees: Swedish cars refuse to start.
At-50 degrees: Canadians will bring in their lawn furniture; if
they can find it in the snowbanks!
At-60 degrees: The thought of cutting firewood actually becomes
pleasant.
At-70 degrees: You CAN watch daytime television!
At-80 degrees: The dog is under the covers with you. Even if he does
have fleas!
At-90 degrees: Politicians will put their hands in their OWN pockets.

Algore is working on his new PowerPoint Presentation, "Global Something Or Other", which is expected to be a shoe-in for the next Nobel Prize, under the "Let's Give A Million Dollar Prize To Famous Politicians Who Haven't Done Anything To Earn One" category.

let's not forget

gore sold his cable tv channel to Al Jazeera America :banghead::banghead::banghead::yikes:

I just read on MSN some scientist believes the reason the U.S. has gotten so cold is because the Artic is warming ?? HUH ????
makes one wonder doesn't it ?

Global Warming, Climate Change - Add in SAG, & SRM. It all makes sense to me now. According to NOAA figures the USA average yearly temp. has been dropping for the last 17 yrs. Down .7 degrees C. in the last 10 years. Except in upstate NY, where it has dropped so much more, as it seems to me anyway. Oh well!

Ignorance running rampant in this thread! Of course, Climate Change deniers know more than the scientists that study such things...
