• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Where has everyone mounted their trailer plug?

In the final stages of installing a Bushtec hitch. Wiring the isolator when smooth, and now the big dilema....where to mount the bike side recepticle for the trailer plug? Replace the license plate light and use that area? Hate to mount under the hitch as the road debris will beat the hell out of the wiring. Any suggestions and tips greatly appreciated. I am just about to use a flat 5 plug or square 6 pin plug and forget the mounted round 6 plug altogether. Thanks in advance. Kevin:helpsmilie:

We didn't mount the bike side trailer plug to anything. It hangs right by the hitch pin. It does collect some road dust but seems no worse for wear. The plug from the hitch to the isolator is attached just inside of the underseat pan.

I have the bushec hitch as well, and the only wire exposed is the pig tail of a plug hanging out of the hitch by the ball for trailer connection.. In fact have both the Bushtec and 5 pin installed thru the hitch.
