Where does that hole go?

I need to run a wire from the trunk power outlet to that knock-out to connect power to my iPhone but can't figure out where that hole under the plate goes?can you fish a wire though it to under the seat? I have a Kewlmetle mount on the steering bar and use my iPhone for phone,music and GPS but need power for long trips and dont want to pull the wrong tupperware off .:dontknow:

Thanks,i was afrade of that,don't think i'll tackle it now as my wife is taking "Spydee" to maggie Valley wed. She will just have to deal with it run loose under seat and upon top of glovebox to bracket,it works just not pretty. I printed your info and will do it when i have more time and more experance taking off the tupperware.
