• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Where do I get the front suspension ring tools for 2018 F3S?

Be interesting if you were to throw a tape on it and give it a measure. The bible says :With the weight of both driver and passenger on the bike, adjust the front shocks to be 420mm (16-17/32") between the upper and lower shock mounting bolts.

How do you and wife sit on the bike and adjust the shocks at the same time? A friend wants to know...

The idea of spring pre-load is to recover lost ride height. However you had your Spyder loaded when the alignment was done. You want to bring it back to that same height when loaded for a ride. You can easily lose well over 1" of ride height when just 1 person sits on the Spyder. More if you load the front trunk, etc. So, measure the nose of your Spyder empty, assuming that's how it was when you aligned it. Then measure again with it loaded. That will tell you how much you are losing and give you an idea of how much lift you need to get back to the original ride height.

It's not rocket science. Nor is it critical to be right on. Your suspension will settle out randomly at + or - 1/4" or so every time you stop.
