Can anyone tell me where I can purchase an OEM backrest for a 2016 RSS?

There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Unless you can find an OEM backrest at one of the OEM/Old Stock outlets (probably VERY expensive from them now tho, if they're at all available! 
); or track one down 2nd hand off eBay/faceache etc, then I think you juuust might be out of luck looking for almost anything OEM, let alone something not everyone is likely to want, like a backrest!! :banghead:
Not sure it'll help any at all, but you might want to tell us if you want a Rider's backrest &/or a Pillion backrest!
And I'm not all that sure the people like 'SmoothSpyder' even sell their dual mode A/mkt backrests for GS/RS/ST's anymore either, but I guess you could ask?! :dontknow: Here's the last one I could readily find that sold thru the Ads here, and there's a link in that to SmoothSpyder which might help you, too!

I believe the RSS was an RT without the fairing, rear trunk, and saddlebags. Meaning backrest for RT should work. ??? :dontknow:
