• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I would like to fit dimple or Gold plugs to my 2017F3T.
The Lamonster price of around AU$30 is reasonable, but AU$69 for postage !!
Such a small light package surely can't cost that for postage.
Anyone know where they can be bought in Oz for a sensible price?

Maybe try https://www.martinthevlogger.com/ since he's on that side of the pond???

Yea, sorry Larry, but Martin the vlogger is even closer to EXACTLY the opposite side of the World to Australia than the US is!

He is in Europe, which is about 4,900 odd miles just across the little ocean called the Atlantic from you over there in the US, ie less than a day's flight away; while we are about 9,800 odd miles away from you & 8,700 odd miles from him in Europe, over here on that big island in the Pacific... ;) .

You must know Australia, it's the big island that's also a Continent, AND a Nation and it's almost a whole day and the next night's flight away from him in Europe! :dontknow:

Just Sayin! :roflblack:

Thanks Ron, wish I knew earlier. I checked the lamonster site and as I said above AU$69 for postage alone.

Shipping to AU for a plug set is $18.00 US. The plug set is $18.95. Total, $36.95.

Ron - USPS " priority mailing boxes ( 3 sizes ) can be used for International mail as well Domestic .... I think the small box charge is $ 8 or $9..... There is a weight limit of 10lbs. for the smallest size ...... Mike

Not a problem. No worries. The main thing is you got what you needed.

True, you can use these options. But they are not a good way to go for International shipping. The cost is pretty high. This is the current, discounted pricing schedule through Stamps.com. Shipping the same package by going to the USPS will cost a fair amount more, in most cases.

Shipping has gone through the roof since fuel prices increased. All of it, of course, passed on the the end user. As always, you have to click on the picture to see it.
