Or you get this one from Custom Dynamics.

It's pretty much same as K&N just a different color. And it matches my Neutron Green Spyder. Even though you will never see it. :dontknow:
I'm not sure if they offer member discounts since they are a sponser here?
Doesn't hurt to ask.
Just realized the K&N is $30 cheaper. :gaah:
It was a bit of a pain to install.
First, you have to remove both left and right Can-Am decal panels.
Next, the front right foglight panel.
Also the center console.
Then after unclipping the 6 clips that hold the airbox lid on.
You have to remove the air breather hose thats attached to the lid. Just to be able to tightly slide it out from under the center frame.
The easiest part is lifting out the old filter and dropping in the new one.
Now you have to put it all back together. :2thumbs:
It's not as hard as it sounds. Just very time consuming.
Pretty much trying to change anything on a Spyder takes a long time.
That's why our dealers charge us a ton to just change the oil.
They will probably charge you at the least and hours worth of labor to install the air filter. On top of the regular service charge. Unless you have a good relationship with your local dealer. Cause i don't, and i cringe when i have to bring it in for service.
I guess because i know i can do the service myself and i know I'm getting ripped off.
Sorry, for the rambling.
I'm just upset i can't go riding today. And it pretty much rained everyday at least once for the entire week.
I guess i can finish the rest of my Tricled mods in the garage today. I'm just glad i enjoy taking things apart and putting them back together. As long as you don't break something in the process. Which i have done many times before.
