• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

The wife and I are rydin down to Sonora CA this weekend with about 8 other Spyder Ryders to the "7th Annual All Hallows Fantasy Faire". This thing sounds wacky, so it should be a great time! The ryde seems to be around 250 miles round trip...The weather's still nice so we gotta get out there!

I will stick within my 100 mile radius. But, it's all good here. No specific destination--just head into the wind.

Think we'll head up to Lake Arrowhead or Big Bear for the weekend get one last ryde in befor we leave SoCal, finished my Buffalo Wild Wings in Rancho Cucamonga this week and its time to head back north to Gods Country. We are going to take the long way home should take a couple weeks.

LA....

off to LA for the weekend. Not much ryding to much family involved so it will be 300 miles or so..ya'll have a good one...:ohyea::ohyea:

One last warm ride to the Coast

We are going to Morro Bay and camp for the weekend. Temperatures in the 80s. Then Wednesday and Thursday next week heavy rain and temperatures drop to 70s. By next weekend the foggy season will probably kick in. Then we will switch direction and go to the high desert, maybe check out St. George for next fall's Spyder in the Redwoods migration.

Spyder stays home. Carrying the 110 year old Model 1894 into the forest looking for some venison to put up for the winter. Senior person on a Senior day hunt with a senior rifle, mid fifties temps. PERFECT.

Best Italian sausage

Taking the long way to Carson City ( Through Virginia City ) to get some Basque grilling sausage. Best in these parts. Good Choriso sausage too!!. I got fat on breakfast buritos loaded with this stuff---- just bulking up for the winter;).

We just took one last ride up to Lake Arrowhead and had breakfast. Great ride and little traffic. Back to the job site by noon and beat the heat it's already 87. We head back to Oregon next week and will miss the great riding weather but little else.

Where are you riding this weekend?

This is an exciting post I look forward to comment on in about two weeks time.
As a beginner (and when F3 comes along in a few weeks), my first weekend ride will be in a car park/industrial estate to get used to forward and reverse controls (Advice from OJ UK). I will find some quiet local roads near where I live to get a feel for my F3 with turning corners etc.:doorag:
