How about Poe's Pub 10 April? Not sure about time that will be good for everyone. I don't know how the Friday traffic is, so are we talking morning, afternoon or evening. :2thumbs:

All Ryders we need to find a date in the near future to meet. Looks like a Friday afternoon would be the best based on Spydermer works weekends.
Would a Friday work for everyone? We are spread from C-ville, Richmond and Fredericksburg. Any ideas on a location? Paul

I'm on for friday the 10th as well. Really looking forward to meeting you all and talking "spyder"--oh yeah, and ryding , of course :clap:. Are you familiar with the site "motorcycleva.com? They are starting a passport program this weekend that sounds really fun. They are kicking it off @ Kings Dominion on sat am, but you can mail in applications as well. Looks to be a nice weekend for ryding--I'll be working. See you friday---

SORRY EVERYONE SPYDER FREAKING OUT

My red baby is already giving me problems, all started after 600 (534) mile check-up. Sunday with wife's first ride while returning from DC. Spyder went into limp mode (no warnings flashing) pulled over turned off the engine and tried several time to get it out of 5th gear. Nothing, wife freaking out, wants to know what's wrong, as if I know. Five mins later computer resets Spyder showing no ill effects and gets us home fine. Today, Spyder want shift out of first gear and I repeat same. Spyder runs good and gets me home. Since the check-up I have this issue, and brakes driving me nuts making noise when applied at slow speeds. As if that's not enough I smell gas when sitting on her while riding but, no leaks detected. Friday I will take her to the dealer. I haven't even made my first payment. I know this seems like the worst but, it's a blessing to me. I want all the crazy stuff to happen now and not later when I'm on a long trip somewhere in another state. This will ruin my rides coming up and I was so excited about meeting with my Va. riders in Richmond. I will have to catch the next one. Enjoy if the weather permits. Ken :banghead:

Sorry to hear this. Many others on this site have experienced the same issue and it seems to be all related to a relay. My brakes did some squealing for some time but appears that has gone away. Best of luck on Friday hopefully we can meet on the next ride. :thumbup:

I just bought my Spyder about two weeks ago, I have about 200mi on it so far. And I am still in the process of adding after market mods to it, my Corbin seat just came in. :yikes: I live in Va Beach, Va. I would be interested in a Spyder grp. :2thumbs:

Welcome aboard, I visit my son that's attending ODU about every three or four months. I have not driven the Spyder there yet. I'm having issues with it right now. Hope to have it working properly soon so I can hit the road. Norfolk would be a nice ride, so I will let you know when I'm headed your way. :congrats: Ken aka bandwagon

Seabreeze will not be able to meet Fri, Aunt in Nursing Home not doing well, 95 today, family from all over coming in for visits. House is full for the weekend. Will watch forum for next VA spyder meet. Ya'll have a great time see ya next trip around.:banghead:ray:
