There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Where are all the Virginia Riders at?

Silverwolf I just ordered my Corbin seats how long did your seats take to receive after order? :dontknow:

The Dealership said that it was going to take like 6 to 8 weeks, but they called me this week to tell me that the seat was in. They were pretty surprised. As for time, I would have to say it was a little less than 4 weeks.

Today at Poh's Pub

Some pictures taken today at Poh's Pub. Three of us gathered to talk and get to know each other.:chat: We had a very aggressive waitress that we thought wanted to sit and chat with us.
Great meeting both Spydermer and Nexus.
Hope bandwagon was able to get his Spyder running.
Seabreeze pray all is well with your Aunt and family.
Silverwolf and UVASpyder like to see you next time.
Enjoyed the day! :2thumbs:

GREAT SEEING YOU GUYS MADE IT

The weather co-operated and that was good. As you can tell my excitement is still high. Early wake up this morning, I just had to see how things went. Did the three of you get a chance to ride together?
As for me the day wasn't a total lost, yesterday. A friend of mind that has been a riding partner because I had only a learners permit. Reminded me that the 30 days was Friday. So I put off the trip to the shop (making that this morning) and we drove to Fredericksburg DMV. After a long wait I finally got to do the road test. The lady told me I would have to do it using the two wheel course and perform the same manuvers. I told her that there is no way possible and that I would do my best. We all know what happened there. After failing to make the short cone turns and u-turn, she said that I had failed the test. I told her that someone is going to have to use some common sense here. I will say that she felt bad about having to make me try it in the first place. Long story made shorter, common sense prevailed and I only had to perform the swerve and braking. I'm now legally free to ride without escort, not that I always obeyed that law. But, it feels great to have that M. Thank goodness the spyder waited until after the test to go into limp mode.
I like the silver and black thing you three got going there, pics of you all are nice. I also like the paint job of the steer skull. Well it's time to go munch on some fiber (breakfast) and start the day off right. Take care all. Ken

Virginia Ryders

:congrats: on the M! I am surprised Virginia is still allowing this, last I heard they were forcing you to commodere a 2 wheeler.:dontknow: I will have to check this again for the other half of the house me wife. The only ride we did together was leaving all going the same direction and peeling off at our homes. Nexus had the longest distance to travel but after seeing his machine I will say he did not get bored or uncorfortable quite impressive!:2thumbs:

Virginia Spyder's Riders Meet At Poe's Pub

It was a great to get together to meet you both Spyderleg and Spydermer and as you said our aggressive waitress should also be added too.:D

I hope all the rest of the other Virginia Spyder Riders out there who want to be part of a group should chime in so we can have more participants in our next get-together.

The next time we get together let's wear out some tires and plan a good ride.

Nexus

Silverwolf received the Corbin sets last week and installed them. Their Great!:2thumbs:

My set just arrived

How hard is it to install seat? Do you know anything about installation of saddle bags? The dealer wants 700-800 bucks.:gaah: I'm in no mood to pay that kind of money after buying bags and saddles. I can use that money to purchase a mc cruise control or an alarm.

Seats are quite easy. more than happy to help if you want to hook up. Have a three car garage if you can get to southside of Richmond. Plenty tools to do the work. Have not experienced the saddle bags yet but can't believe we couldn't tackle this either. Will work for beer!

Thanks, that will be great

I want be able to do anything for a couple of weeks, or until after I get the front saddle back. It was ripped on both sides. Looks like one of the locks on the bags may need some adjusting so the top will remain locked. Hope it's that simple because I really want to see how it all looks. I will remain in touch. Thanks again

Why are all the SPYDER riders up north? I live in VA Beach and see a few SPYDERS but they are few and far between. Why don't you guys/gals come down south sometime?

Planning to make several trips that way this year. Just had breakfast in Jamestown a few weeks back on the nickle dime run out of Richmond. Will let you know when I am heading that way again.

SPYDER IN SHOP

Hey, Paul how are things with your spyder? I too had to put mine's in the shop. Got tired of it hanging up in gears, it happened four times in a two hour period. Just missed a thunder storm and ducked into a McDonalds. Hope to have it back by the end of next week. I was thinking about the NC ride on the 27th. If all goes well with the spyder I think I will put her on the road. ken

Ken the spyder is running great since the dealer installed the gear sensor. My brakes are in / just need to leave it for a day to get them installed.
As for me the my old buddy Brain Tumor has made another appearance and will be starting another new treatment starting this weekend. Nurse was going over the treatment with me a pointing out all the side effects one she told me I wouldn't really like...... HAIR LOSS! :roflblack: Just another day!

IT SADDENS ME TO LEARN THAT

I hope everything goes well, and hair is over rated any way. :doorag: That's why we have our helmets and caps. :doorag: I also got my spyder back today. Runs good but the hindle is doing a lot of back pressure when I let up on the throttle. I will check to make sure it is tight. I will put the saddles on sometime this week. Let me know how you are doing.ken

spyder problems

I'am having the same problems. Gas smell, noisey brakes, and e-brake. I was told by dealer if I wanted them fixed I would have to leave bike. It's 90 miles each way. They wouldn't order parts with out bike at lot till fix. I'am still riding it? Gas smell is when it's hot. E-brake broke first day on way home. They fixed it. and three weeks later was out again. we ride out of Roanoke VA. would injoy hearing from others. We love the spyder and riding it. On way to up state New York. Over the 4TH
