• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

My wife and I did a trip from Ontario to Lake Placid/Whiteface Mountain, then to Lake George and home. Did approximately 1600 trouble free miles for both bikes. Out of the six spyders we saw, only one was an RT with the others being GS and RS models.

The way the RT seems to be outselling the sportier RS I thought I would have seen more.

Anyone going to Lake Placid, the Mountainview Inn is an excellent place to stay. The Generations restaurant across the road is also very, very, good.

Hi,
I know what you mean. Last July, I went from Saskatoon to Montreal and back. I saw only 1 other Spyder in total. There's just not that many up here yet.
I guess we're just ahead of the curve! ;-)

I haven't see any statistics on the sales... I think most waited until 2011 or 2012 hoping to get the bugs worked out, would think since the Spyder has been around since 2008 there would not be more RT's one the road and for 30K it takes a lot of prospective buyers out of the market...

Hy MidLifeCrisis, Love your logo in your avatar! Is that an actual pc of plastic or just artwork (and if it is plastic where can I get one?)

In Durango the RTs outnumbered the RSs by a ton. I'd say 8 out of 10 Spyders were RTs there. Lake Placid sure is beautiful we went to Spyders in the Adirondacks last year and really enjoyed it. I wish I was going again.

RS...GS

You were in the Land of Artufun aka " Randy " and He doesn't look kindly on anything but a GS and preferably a PE model.....so that explains it...:roflblack::roflblack::roflblack::roflblack::roflblack::roflblack:......Mike.....

we are here in an RV Park in Petoskey MI for the Summer and there are 5 RTs here.4 Limited version and 1 with gears.

My wife and I took a trip from New York ( Lake George region ) to Wells Beach ,Maine. A 500 mile round trip. We didn't see any can ams at all, RT or RS. At the Hotel and surrounding areas, you would have thought we were in an alian space craft. People looking and asking questions about the RT. I would have expected to see more can ams on the coast. NOT !
