• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

When's the First service on F3L scheduled? What's involved?

Then why does the manual say 600? I'm not auguring, just wondering.

the F 3 manual does not say 600 miles as shown above.

I could not bring myself to wait till 3000 for a first service. I guess too many bikes over the years with 600 recommended has caused me to feel that way.
I had my first service done at 850 miles two days ago.
I will do it again at 3000 per the book. From then on, I will do oil changes at 4000-4500 mi. 3000 may be too soon, but I just can't accept 9000 as being OK. And no, I don't think I know more than the BRP engineers.
I do not think that dealers are only after our money. I find if you go in with the attitude that you will get screwed, guess what, you probably will.
Seems those who badmouth dealers at every opportunity are the same people who have never owned their own business.
just my $.02
